📢 We’re Hiring: Senior Commission & Revenue Reconciliation Analyst
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional to take ownership of end-to-end commission reconciliation, commission performance reporting, financial reporting, operational reporting, and data validation for our retail telecom business.
Our business operates in the telecom/retail space, where we sell broadband, wireless, and related services through telecom service providers and reconcile commissions received from those providers against our internal sales, financial, and operational data.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end monthly commission reconciliation process
* Reconcile service-provider commission statements with internal sales and transaction data
* Identify and investigate missing commissions, discrepancies, chargebacks, adjustments, and payment variances
* Build, maintain, and validate the Monthly Commission Performance Dashboard
* Track commission performance across sales, products, locations, employees, and other key business metrics
* Analyze commission trends, performance gaps, variances, and exceptions
* Manage and validate daily sales and operational reports
* Prepare monthly commission, finance, and management reports
* Perform detailed financial reconciliation and variance analysis
* Establish data validation and quality-control checks to minimize reporting errors
* Track exceptions and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution
* Review reporting logic and ensure consistency across multiple data sources
* Document reconciliation processes, business rules, controls, and SOPs
* Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting, dashboarding, and reconciliation processes
🔹 Required Skills
✅ Advanced Microsoft Excel – XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, Pivot Tables, Power Query, etc.
✅ Strong experience in commission reconciliation and variance analysis
✅ Experience creating and maintaining performance dashboards
✅ Strong understanding of finance and accounting fundamentals
✅ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
✅ Exceptional attention to detail
✅ Ability to work with large datasets and identify data inconsistencies
✅ Strong understanding of reporting controls and data quality
🔹 Preferred Skills
⭐ SQL
⭐ Python / Pandas
⭐ Power BI
⭐ Experience with commission/incentive compensation systems
⭐ Experience in telecom, wireless, cable, retail, dealer operations, or sales commissions
⭐ Experience with financial reconciliation and revenue reporting
⭐ Experience developing automated dashboards and reporting solutions

We need someone who doesn't just prepare reports, but can validate the numbers end-to-end, identify discrepancies, and understand the reason behind them.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable tracing a transaction through the complete lifecycle:
Sale → Activation → Commission Eligibility → Commission Calculation → Payment → Reconciliation → Dashboard → Reporting
You should enjoy working with data, finding discrepancies, building controls, analyzing performance, and improving reporting accuracy.
📍 Position Details
Location: Mysore
Experience: 3–7 years
