STRATEGIC • Assist management in developing BD strategy for the zone by providing market feedback on new developments & competing trends • Developing new geographies in the zone in consultation with the management and in alignment to the business vision and strategy • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential clients (Banks/Retails) for the zone • Evaluate potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, feasibility, profitability and internal priorities • Strategize and lead the zonal business development team towards achieving the Sales targets • Execute and monitor the progress of the business development plan for the zone including frequency of calls, visits, and achieve width and depth of target market by driving Business Development Executives • Plan and implement Local Sales and Promotions initiatives • Close the new business deals by negotiating contracts with clients
OPERATIONAL • Resolve client queries and complaints regarding sales and solutions • Collaborate with Key Account Managers (KAMs) to maintain strong relationship with the acquired client base • Collaborate with local Operations team to generate leads and ensure uninterrupted service to client, and fulfill SLA requirements • Prepare and present BD performance reports for the zone to the management
FINANCIAL • Provide inputs on the BD budget to management and overseeing the local BD expenses PEOPLE • Assist in appointment of Business Development Executive and their territory allocation • Provide direction, motivation and training to the Business Development Executives, thus ensuring optimum performance • Complete performance appraisal of the Operations Monitoring team members in timely manner
CUSTOMER • Participate in the review meetings with clients to ensure good service delivery and continued customer relation • Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company • Develop and maintain good industry contacts and increase the visibility and acceptance in the Market
