Role Description The Senior Accountant (FMCG experienced) will manage end-to-end accounting operations for Toyo Kombucha, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. This full-time, on-site role in the Greater Delhi Area involves preparing financial statements, overseeing inventory and cost accounting specific to FMCG, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The individual will monitor cash flow, ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and coordinate with auditors and external partners. The Senior Accountant will also analyze financial performance, provide insights to support management decisions, and help strengthen internal controls and financial processes to support the company’s growth.
Qualifications
- Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
- Experience in FMCG finance, such as inventory accounting, cost of goods sold analysis, and margin tracking.
- Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, and comfort working with data and financial models.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and present insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA) is an advantage.
- Several years of relevant accounting experience, with prior FMCG or consumer goods experience strongly preferred.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Integrity, accountability, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
