Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in the Greater Delhi Area. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and voucher entries. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with budgeting, and monitoring accounts payable and receivable. The role will also involve supporting tax filings, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors. The Accountant will help improve financial processes, maintain accurate records, and provide regular financial reports to management.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in general accounting, bookkeeping, and ledger management.
- Ability to prepare financial statements, assist with budgeting, and handle accounts payable/receivable.
- Knowledge of taxation, regulatory compliance, and audit support processes.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets and basic financial analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an accounting role within financial services or a similar industry is preferred.
