Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Semi Qualified CA role based in Pune District. The role involves assisting in statutory and tax audits, conducting financial reviews, and preparing working papers and documentation in line with professional standards. The Semi Qualified CA will support the preparation and filing of tax returns, compliance reports, and other regulatory submissions, while coordinating with clients for required data and clarifications. Day-to-day tasks include bookkeeping support, financial analysis, reconciliation of accounts, and helping draft reports and presentations for internal and client use. The role also includes contributing to process improvements, maintaining organized records, and working closely with senior team members to meet deadlines and client expectations.
Qualifications
- Partly completed Chartered Accountancy (e.g., completed IPCC/Intermediate) with current or past article experience in an audit or CA firm.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, auditing procedures, and basic principles of direct and indirect taxation.
- Ability to work with financial statements, perform reconciliations, and prepare schedules and working papers accurately.
- Proficiency with MS Excel and other common accounting tools or software; familiarity with Tally or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information clearly to clients and colleagues.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Demonstrated integrity, commitment to professional ethics, and willingness to learn and take on responsibility.
- Experience in audit, taxation, or compliance work in a CA firm environment is preferred.
