Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Gurugram. The Chartered Accountant will oversee end-to-end accounting, including general ledger management, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements. Responsibilities include monitoring cash flows, budgeting, variance analysis, and supporting cost optimization initiatives. The role also involves tax planning and compliance, handling statutory filings, coordinating audits, and ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The Chartered Accountant will collaborate with operations and leadership teams to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and strengthen internal controls and financial processes.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management and preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance analysis to support business performance monitoring and decision-making.
- Experience in direct and indirect tax compliance, statutory filings, and knowledge of relevant tax laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to manage internal and external audits, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Comfort with accounting and ERP software, advanced MS Excel skills, and the ability to work with data for reporting and insights.
- Recognized Chartered Accountant qualification (CA) with relevant post-qualification experience in corporate or consulting environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or logistics-driven businesses is an advantage.
