About BridgeYU
BridgeYU is building the next generation of learning infrastructure. We empower educators, coaching institutes, schools, universities, and content creators to launch their own branded learning platforms with enterprise-grade features.
We’re at an exciting stage of our journey and looking for a Sales Specialist who wants to build, grow, and win with us. If you’re an optimistic, target-driven seller who thrives on turning opportunities into customers and enjoys building something from the ground up, we’d love to meet you.
Role Description
We’re looking for a driven and optimistic Sales Specialist to help scale BridgeYU from 0 to 1.
This role is for someone who loves selling, takes ownership of targets, and sees challenges as opportunities. You’ll be responsible for building a strong sales pipeline, identifying the right customers, converting leads into paying customers, and consistently delivering measurable revenue growth.
You won’t just manage an existing pipeline—you’ll create opportunities, experiment with sales strategies, build relationships, and develop repeatable processes that drive business growth. Working closely with the founders, you’ll play a key role in shaping our go-to-market strategy and establishing BridgeYU’s presence in the market.
We’re looking for a positive, persistent, and results-oriented seller who believes in the product, enjoys talking to customers, and is motivated by achieving—and exceeding—targets.
Note: Candidates with their own laptop and personal transportation will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Own Sales Targets: Take complete ownership of revenue goals, consistently meet targets, and work towards exceeding them.
- Build from 0 to 1: Create and grow the sales pipeline from scratch by identifying potential customers and exploring new opportunities.
- Generate Quality Leads: Drive lead generation through outbound outreach, referrals, partnerships, networking, and other effective channels.
- Convert Prospects into Customers: Lead prospects through the sales journey with consultative selling, effective communication, and consistent follow-ups.
- Maintain a Winning Mindset: Stay optimistic and persistent through rejections, handle objections confidently, and find ways to move deals forward.
- Build Scalable Sales Processes: Develop sales playbooks, improve follow-up strategies, and create repeatable systems for consistent growth.
- Track Performance: Monitor sales KPIs, pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue performance to continuously improve results.
- Collaborate with Founders: Work closely with the founding team to refine messaging, understand customer needs, and explore new market opportunities.
- Build Long-Term Relationships: Deliver a strong customer experience that encourages retention, referrals, and long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Experience in sales, business development, or customer acquisition, preferably in an EdTech startup, SaaS company, or high-growth environment.
- A proven ability to generate leads independently, convert prospects, and consistently work towards sales targets.
- Strong communication, persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A positive, optimistic, and resilient attitude, with the ability to stay motivated despite setbacks and rejections.
- A target-driven mindset with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency.
- Understanding of B2B sales, customer acquisition, and sales pipeline management.
- A data-driven approach to tracking performance, identifying bottlenecks, and improving conversions.
- Comfort working in an early-stage startup where you may need to build processes from scratch and wear multiple hats.
- Familiarity with CRM tools, sales automation platforms, and prospecting tools is a plus.
- Prior EdTech or SaaS sales experience is preferred, but a strong sales mindset and the ability to deliver results matter most.
Who Will Thrive at BridgeYU?
- You enjoy selling and are excited by the challenge of building something from the ground up.
- You set ambitious targets and take ownership of achieving them.
- You see rejection as part of the process, not a reason to give up.
- You bring energy, optimism, and persistence to every sales conversation.
- You are proactive, resourceful, and focused on outcomes rather than just activity.
- You want to make a tangible impact on a growing business and grow alongside the company.
If you’re hungry to build, passionate about sales, and ready to turn opportunities into revenue, we’d love to hear from you. Join BridgeYU and help us scale from 0 to 1!
