Role Description The Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in ghaziabad. This role is responsible for identifying and approaching potential customers such as schools, bookstores, distributors, and educational institutions, and presenting Marina Publications’ catalog of children’s books. Day-to-day tasks include managing the sales pipeline, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating pricing and terms, and closing deals. The Sales Specialist will handle customer inquiries, build and maintain long-term relationships, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The role also involves tracking market trends, preparing sales reports, collaborating with the marketing and product teams, and participating in sales meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Sales Management skills to manage pipelines, meet targets, and support business growth.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to guide partners or clients on product features and effective use of educational materials.
- Candidates should have basic proficiency in MS Office or similar tools and the ability to prepare reports and presentations.
- Prior experience in publishing, education, or FMCG sales is advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, travel within the region as needed, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
