About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Officer – Modern Trade to grow our products across supermarkets and retail chains in Chennai.
If you are target-focused, good at customer relationships and confident in sales, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and visit Modern Trade stores in Chennai.
* Achieve monthly sales and collection targets.
* Generate regular orders from stores.
* Develop new stores and customers.
* Ensure products are available and properly displayed.
* Execute offers, promotions and visibility activities.
* Check competitor products, prices and activities.
* Follow up on payments and outstanding amounts.
* Submit daily sales and market reports.
* Coordinate with warehouse, delivery and office teams.
What We Expect
* 2–4 years of FMCG / Modern Trade sales experience.
* Good communication and negotiation skills.
* Good knowledge of the Chennai retail market.
* Strong follow-up and relationship-building skills.
* Target-oriented and willing to work in the field.
* Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
💰 Salary & Incentives
₹25,000–₹30,000 per month + Performance Incentives
⭐ High performers can earn up to 20% additional income based on target achievement.
Performance will be measured through sales, collections, new outlets and product distribution.
