Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Sales Manager will lead sales activities for animal health products, including identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with distributors, veterinarians, and livestock producers. Responsibilities include developing and executing sales plans, tracking performance against targets, and providing market feedback to support product positioning and strategy. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and technical teams, conducting product presentations and training, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Sales Manager will oversee reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management to drive sustainable revenue growth in assigned territories.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in sales planning, pipeline management, and achievement of revenue and growth targets.
- Experience in customer relationship management, account management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategy.
- Proficiency in communication, negotiation, and presentation, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Comfort using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis for reporting and forecasting.
- Background in animal health, veterinary sciences, life sciences, agribusiness, or a related field is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Veterinary or a related discipline; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and operate independently in the field.
- Willingness to travel within assigned regions and adapt to dynamic market conditions.
