Role Description The Sales Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South. The Sales Manager will lead and manage a team to achieve health insurance sales targets, drive business growth, and expand the customer base in the assigned region. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing sales strategies, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with distributors, corporate clients, and other partners, as well as identifying new market opportunities and channels. The Sales Manager will also collaborate with internal stakeholders, provide regular reporting, and support training and development of team members to enhance productivity and service quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in health insurance, financial services, or related industries.
- Strong skills in team leadership, performance management, and stakeholder relationship building.
- Ability to develop and implement regional sales plans, analyze market trends, and use data to guide decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Familiarity with health insurance products, regulatory frameworks, and compliance practices is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and reporting platforms to manage sales activities and pipelines.
- Capability to work on-site in Bengaluru South, with flexibility to travel within the region as required.
