We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team in Theni. This is a full-time, on-site role.
The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with wholesalers, traders, distributors and other potential buyers, and supporting the growth of our spice business in domestic and international markets.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new sales opportunities and potential customers.
- Reach out to wholesalers, traders, distributors, retailers and other potential buyers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and grades.
- Prepare quotations and follow up with customers to convert enquiries into orders.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms in coordination with the management.
- Maintain regular follow-ups and manage the complete sales process.
- Coordinate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
- Maintain accurate customer records, enquiries and sales reports.
- Participate in customer visits, trade events and other business development activities when required.
- Work towards assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Qualifications & Requirements- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, account management or customer relationship management.
- Experience in the spices, food, agriculture, FMCG or trading industry will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Fluency in both Hindi and English is mandatory.
- Ability to communicate confidently with customers from different regions.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented and capable of working independently.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic reporting.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and business development activities when required.
