Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales & Collection Manager located in Bhubaneswar. The role involves leading and managing vehicle finance sales operations, including developing and executing sales strategies to meet disbursement targets, building and maintaining relationships with dealers, DSAs, and customers, and ensuring high-quality customer service throughout the loan lifecycle. The Sales & Collection Manager will oversee collections performance, monitor overdue accounts, implement collection plans, and coordinate with field teams to minimize delinquencies and improve portfolio quality. Daily responsibilities include reviewing MIS reports, analyzing portfolio health, conducting market visits, guiding team members, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines. This role is not for freshers and requires prior experience in vehicle finance and team leadership.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in vehicle finance sales and collections management, ideally with an NBFC or bank in the auto/vehicle finance domain.
- Strong skills in portfolio monitoring, overdue management, and implementation of effective collection strategies.
- Ability to build and manage relationships with dealers, DSAs, customers, and internal stakeholders, with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Competence in using MS Excel and other reporting tools for MIS, data analysis, and performance tracking.
- Demonstrated team management capabilities, including target setting, performance review, coaching, and field coordination.
- Sound understanding of credit processes, basic underwriting principles, and regulatory compliance related to vehicle finance.
- Excellent communication skills in English and local language, with a customer-centric approach and high ethical standards.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in vehicle finance; prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Graduate degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA/PGDM) is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bhubaneswar and travel locally for market visits and collection activities as required.
