Role Description The Sales Associate role at Delhivery is a full-time, on-site position based in Gwalior. In this role, the Sales Associate will identify and pursue new business opportunities, engage with local businesses and enterprise clients, and promote Delhivery’s logistics solutions across express parcel, freight, supply chain, and technology services. Daily responsibilities include managing leads, conducting client meetings, preparing proposals and quotations, and coordinating closely with operations and customer support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery. The Sales Associate will maintain accurate sales records, track performance against targets, and provide regular feedback on market trends and customer needs. This role requires active fieldwork within Gwalior and surrounding areas to build strong, long-term client relationships.
Qualifications
- Sales and business development skills, including lead generation, prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Customer relationship management and account management capabilities, with a focus on service quality and retention.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for presenting solutions, conducting meetings, and collaborating with internal teams.
- Basic understanding of logistics, supply chain, or courier services; prior experience in logistics or related industries is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Gwalior, travel locally for client visits, and manage time effectively to meet targets.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and presentation software; comfortable with digital platforms and mobile apps.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales data, understand market trends, and identify growth opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience in sales.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
