Role Description The Research and Development Executive – Hair Colors (Powder/Creme/Gel) will lead formulation development and optimization of plant-based and herbal hair color products. This full-time on-site role, based in Ghaziabad, involves designing and executing R&D trials, conducting stability and performance testing, and performing sensory evaluation of hair color formulations. The role includes collaborating with production, quality, and regulatory teams to ensure scalability, compliance, and consistent product quality. The Executive will document research findings, maintain technical dossiers, support customer-specific development projects, and contribute to continuous improvement of existing product lines.
Qualifications
- Strong Research and Development (R&D) and Research Development skills focused on cosmetic or hair color formulations.
- Proficiency in Sensory Evaluation methods for assessing hair color performance, texture, fragrance, and overall user experience.
- Background in Food Technology and Food Science or closely related disciplines, with understanding of ingredients, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in formulation chemistry for powders, cremes, and gels, preferably in hair care or personal care products.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of herbal, plant-based, and Ayurvedic ingredients, and familiarity with international quality and safety standards.
- Ability to design experiments, analyze data, prepare technical reports, and manage multiple development projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a detail-oriented and process-driven approach to laboratory and pilot-scale work.
