About us
Kuronyx is India's first veterinary-only compounding pharmacy. Prescription-only, vet-facing, analytically validated.
The role
You are the pharmacy's principal registered pharmacist. Every preparation that leaves the pharmacy, and every record it is inspected on, passes through you. You are named on the pharmacy's licences, which carries personal accountability.
What you will do
* Verify each veterinary prescription, then compound and dispense against it
* Keep batch records, SOPs, the prescription register and testing files complete and inspection-ready
* Coordinate testing with external laboratories and review every result against specification
* Review the batch records and lab results of batches compounded by others, before release
* Supervise and train pharmacy staff, and keep compounding areas controlled
* Keep the premises and records ready for Maharashtra FDA inspection
What we need
* M.Pharm or higher qualification from a PCI-approved institution
* Current Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council registration, or transfer completed before joining
* 3 or more years as a registered pharmacist, including hands-on formulation work and responsibility for QA or documentation
* Working knowledge of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act and Rules, Schedule N, the Pharmacy Act, and sterile and aseptic practice
* Good documentation practice (ALCOA+)
Preferred
* Hands-on sterile or aseptic preparation experience
* Experience preparing for FDA inspections or ISO 9001 audits
* Interest in veterinary pharmacy
Terms
Six days a week with a rostered weekly off. The pharmacy cannot open without a registered pharmacist on site. Short-notice joiners preferred.
