DataChill — Physics Research Ambassador [Remote]
What is DataChill?
DataChill is a small research community working on real engineering and physics problems through research papers, simulation, computational modelling, and experimentation.
We don't do certificate courses. We do actual research work.
Your Role: Physics Research AmbassadorThis is a remote, technical role. You will work directly with research papers and technical problems.
What you will actually do:
- Read and discuss research papers properly—not just the abstract
- Pick a real research problem from a paper
- Try to reproduce the model or simulation
- Ask questions: Why this assumption? What if we change it?
- Join our Research Paper Hackathons
- Create simple 2–3 page explainers of what you found
- Work with other students and mentors
Who Should Apply?Apply if:
- You genuinely like physics or engineering research—not just CV building
- You enjoy learning new physics, even when it is difficult
- You can spend 2–3 hours understanding a technical paper
- You naturally ask “Why?” and like to test things
- You can work independently and with a team
- You can explain technical ideas simply
Branches: Physics, Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil, EEE, ECE, Biomedical, Materials, Computational Science and related fields.
B.Tech / M.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc — all are welcome.
Research experience is NOT required. What matters is curiosity, discipline, and willingness to do hard technical work.
Who Should NOT Apply?Please don't apply if you are looking for:
- Social media / campus ambassador work
- A certificate without doing the work
- Only software training
This is a technical research role. The work will be difficult.
Time: 4–6 hours/week
Discussions: Monday & Wednesday, 8:30 PM IST
