Role Description The Reporter role at NOVA Community is a full-time, on-site position based in Bahadurgarh. This role involves researching and reporting on community activities, leadership events, and member stories, as well as capturing insights from guest speakers, partners, and sponsors. The Reporter will produce clear, engaging written content for newsletters, web articles, event summaries, and social or internal communication channels. Day-to-day responsibilities include attending NOVA events and subgroups, conducting interviews with members and stakeholders, verifying information and sources, and collaborating with the team to identify key themes and story ideas. The Reporter will also support multimedia coverage where needed and ensure content aligns with NOVA’s mission of empowering and connecting leaders.
Qualifications
- Strong reporting skills, including information gathering, interviewing, and source verification.
- Excellent writing and news writing abilities, with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and audience relevance.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with senior leaders, partners, and team members.
- Basic multimedia skills (e.g., photo, audio, or video capture) to support storytelling across formats.
- Relevant experience in journalism, communications, or content creation; prior work covering business, leadership, or community topics is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in Bahadurgarh, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
