Role Description The Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Jabalpur Area, responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers for Bajaj Life Insurance. In this role, the Relationship Manager will engage with existing and potential customers, understand their financial protection and investment needs, and recommend suitable life insurance and investment solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting customer meetings, providing product explanations and benefit illustrations, handling queries, and ensuring timely follow-up to support policy issuance and renewals. The Relationship Manager will collaborate with branch teams and distribution partners, maintain accurate records in CRM tools, and adhere to regulatory and company compliance standards. The role also involves working towards sales and service targets, enhancing customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall business growth of the region.
Qualifications Graduate and above
- Strong relationship management, client servicing, and customer support skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term engagement.
- Sales and negotiation capabilities, including prospecting, lead conversion, and achieving individual and team targets.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in explaining financial products in clear, simple language.
- Basic financial and insurance domain understanding, including life insurance concepts, investment planning, and regulatory awareness.
- Comfort with digital tools and CRM systems, along with the ability to use online platforms and mobile applications for customer interaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications in insurance or financial services are an advantage.
- Prior experience in banking, insurance, or financial services sales is preferred, especially in customer-facing roles.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams at the branch level.
