Role Description The Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients by understanding their financial objectives and recommending appropriate products and services. This full-time, on-site role in Kolkata involves regular client meetings, responding to queries, and providing timely updates on investment performance and market developments. The position requires close coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions, onboarding of new clients, and resolution of service issues. The Relationship Manager will actively identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across Ashika’s range of offerings, prepare basic reports and presentations, and maintain accurate client records in line with regulatory and company standards.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to understand and address diverse financial needs.
- Knowledge of financial markets and products such as equities, derivatives, mutual funds, insurance, and investment advisory services.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident presentation abilities.
- Sales and business development capabilities, including prospecting, negotiation, and meeting defined targets in a structured environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret basic market information, assess client portfolios, and propose suitable solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, handle multiple client accounts, and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications in financial services or capital markets are an advantage.
- Prior experience in financial services, brokerage, banking, or wealth management is preferred, especially in client-facing roles.
