Role Description The Relationship Manager role at Piramal Finance is a full-time, on-site position based in Ernakulam. The Relationship Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of customers by understanding their financial needs, recommending suitable products, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Daily responsibilities include engaging with prospective and existing customers, conducting needs assessments, explaining product features and terms, and assisting with application and documentation processes. The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth disbursal of funds, tracking account performance, resolving customer issues promptly, and adhering to compliance and risk management guidelines. The Relationship Manager will contribute to achieving business targets through regular follow-ups, market outreach, and maintaining accurate records in line with company policies.
Qualifications
- Strong customer relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, maintain long-term engagements, and provide responsive service.
- Sales and business development capabilities, with experience in identifying opportunities, meeting targets, and promoting financial products.
- Sound knowledge of financial services, lending practices, and basic credit assessment; prior experience in retail or wholesale finance is an advantage.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and standard office software for documentation, reporting, and tracking customer interactions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple customer relationships simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Comfort working in an on-site environment in Ernakulam, with flexibility to meet customers during business hours and occasional extended work times as needed.
