Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Chennai. The Relationship Manager will manage and grow a portfolio of clients by understanding their financial goals, recommending suitable investment products, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include regular client engagement through meetings and calls, providing market updates, handling queries, and facilitating smooth execution of trades and transactions. The role involves coordinating with internal teams for account opening, documentation, and service requests, while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines. The Relationship Manager will also identify new business opportunities, cross-sell relevant products, and contribute to branch revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Sales and business development abilities, with experience in cross-selling and upselling financial products.
- Knowledge of equity markets, mutual funds, and other investment products, with the ability to explain them clearly to clients.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with trading or broking platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications in securities markets are an advantage.
- Prior experience in broking, wealth management, banking, or financial services is preferred.
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment with strong ethical standards and adherence to regulatory compliance.
