Role Description The Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and growing client relationships, primarily supporting investors with their trading and investment needs. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring regular in-person interaction with clients and internal teams. Day-to-day activities include onboarding new clients, explaining products and services, responding to queries, and providing timely support on trading, demat, and investment-related matters. The role involves proactively engaging with clients to understand their financial goals, sharing research insights and market updates, and coordinating with operations and compliance teams to ensure smooth service delivery. The Relationship Manager will also contribute to investor education initiatives, assist in resolving service issues, and support business development activities to deepen client engagement and retention.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication in English and local languages as applicable.
- Basic understanding of stock markets, demat and trading accounts, mutual funds, and other investment products, with willingness to learn and stay updated on market developments.
- Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple client requests, follow-ups, and documentation accurately and on schedule.
- Comfort with using digital platforms, trading applications, CRM tools, and standard office software for client servicing and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Business, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications in securities or mutual funds are an added advantage.
- Prior experience in broking, banking, financial services, or customer-facing roles is preferred but motivated early-career candidates may also be considered.
- High ethical standards, attention to regulatory guidelines, and a client-first mindset focused on transparent and compliant practices.
