Role Description The Reservation Executive is a full-time, on-site role based at Hilton Gurugram Baani City Centre in Gurugram. This role is responsible for handling individual and group reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels, ensuring accurate bookings and prompt responses. Day-to-day tasks include managing room availability in the system, processing modifications and cancellations, confirming rates and packages, and coordinating special requests with front office and other departments. The Reservation Executive maintains high standards of guest service by providing clear information on hotel facilities, promotions, and policies, and by optimizing occupancy and revenue through effective upselling. The role also involves maintaining detailed records, preparing basic reservation reports, and adhering to brand and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and internal teams.
- Proficiency in hotel reservation systems and property management software, along with basic MS Office skills for daily reporting and documentation.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling bookings, rates, guest information, and payment-related processes.
- Ability to manage multiple inquiries, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Good numerical aptitude and understanding of basic revenue, rate structures, and inventory management concepts.
- Prior experience in reservations, front office, or customer-facing roles in hotels or travel services is preferred.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages common to the region is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
