Role Description The Radiology Registrar at Apollo Hospitals in Bengaluru is a full-time, on-site role focused on supporting high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology services. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising and coordinating patient scheduling for radiology procedures, ensuring accurate documentation of clinical information, and assisting in the preparation and review of imaging reports. The role involves close collaboration with radiologists, nuclear medicine specialists, and other physicians to support clinical decision-making and timely communication of results. The Radiology Registrar also helps maintain adherence to safety protocols, supports quality assurance activities, and contributes to efficient workflow within the radiology department.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in radiological sciences, including Radiology and Interventional Radiology.
- Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine and its applications in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Clinical understanding of Medicine to interpret referrals and correlate imaging with patient history.
- Ability to work effectively with Physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant medical degree or radiology-focused qualification; additional training or certification in radiology or nuclear medicine is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, accurate documentation skills, and familiarity with radiology information systems and PACS.
- Commitment to patient safety, ethical clinical practice, and adherence to hospital and regulatory guidelines.
- Good communication skills, professional conduct, and willingness to work in rotational shifts if required.
