Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Doctor at APYVA | all things women. The Doctor will provide virtual consultations, ongoing clinical care, and evidence-based guidance to patients across relevant women’s health domains. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing patient histories, ordering and interpreting investigations where needed, developing personalized care plans, and collaborating with other specialists to ensure integrated, holistic care. The Doctor will document encounters accurately in digital medical records, maintain high standards of clinical quality and patient safety, and participate in multidisciplinary case discussions. The role also involves contributing to patient education content, promoting preventive health, and supporting APYVA’s mission of accessible, compassionate, and continuous care for women.
Qualifications
- Valid medical degree (MD/DO/MBBS or equivalent) and appropriate board certification or specialization in gynecology, obstetrics, endocrinology, family medicine, internal medicine, psychiatry, or another women’s health–related field.
- Current, unrestricted medical license in relevant jurisdiction(s), with eligibility to provide telehealth services.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in areas such as reproductive health, PCOS, fertility, pregnancy and postpartum care, menopause, mental well-being, lifestyle medicine, and preventive healthcare.
- Strong patient communication skills, including the ability to explain complex medical information clearly, practice trauma-informed care, and build trust with diverse patient populations.
- Experience using telemedicine platforms, electronic health records, and digital tools to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient remote care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, coordinate care across specialties, and participate in case reviews and clinical discussions.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and staying current with guidelines in women’s health and related specialties.
- High ethical standards, respect for patient autonomy and privacy, and sensitivity to cultural, social, and gender-related factors in healthcare.
- Availability to work full time in a remote setting, with reliable internet
