Role Description As a Quantitative Aptitude Trainer at Veranda HigherEd, you will deliver engaging classroom sessions focused on quantitative reasoning, numerical ability, and problem-solving techniques for competitive and higher education exams. You will design lesson plans, practice exercises, and assessment materials that align with program objectives and help learners build speed and accuracy. Daily responsibilities include explaining concepts clearly, demonstrating shortcuts and strategies, conducting doubt-clearing sessions, evaluating learner performance, and providing constructive feedback. You will collaborate with academic coordinators to update content, maintain high teaching standards, and support continuous improvement of the curriculum. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in quantitative aptitude topics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, data interpretation, and logical reasoning, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Demonstrated experience in classroom teaching, training, or coaching for entrance tests, competitive exams, or professional certification programs.
- Ability to design structured lesson plans, practice sets, mock tests, and performance evaluation tools tailored to diverse learner levels.
- Excellent communication skills, including clear verbal explanation, effective questioning techniques, and empathetic learner engagement.
- Comfort with using digital tools for presentations, content creation, and learner tracking; familiarity with learning management systems is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on accuracy, time management strategies, and exam-oriented preparation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Commerce, Education, or a related field; advanced qualifications or test-prep certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work in a structured academic environment, collaborate with colleagues, and adapt teaching methods based on learner feedback and performance data.
