Peer Consulting Resources is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Analyst & Project Coordinator to support an application development and production support team.
Role Allocation:
- Manual testing and defect tracking β 60%
- Project tracking and reporting β 20%
- Team and stakeholder coordination β 20%
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing for web applications.
- Create and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform backend data validation using SQL.
- Test APIs using Postman.
- Test application-generated PDF documents and reports.
- Perform accessibility and ADA compliance testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, track, retest, and close defects.
- Maintain project trackers, testing documentation, deadlines, dependencies, and action items.
- Collect start-of-day and end-of-day updates from the development team.
- Prepare consolidated daily and weekly status reports.
- Follow up with developers on tasks, blockers, and committed timelines.
- Coordinate application demos, UAT activities, production releases, and post-release validation.
- Attend project meetings and communicate with stakeholders when required.
- Escalate critical defects, missed deadlines, risks, and unresolved blockers appropriately.
Required Skills:
- 3β5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on manual testing experience.
- Strong SQL knowledge for backend data validation.
- Hands-on API testing experience using Postman.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of accessibility testing, ADA, Section 508, or WCAG.
- Experience testing web applications, PDFs, reports, and database functionality.
- Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Strong communication, documentation, reporting, follow-up, and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Willingness to work the complete 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with US-based stakeholders and distributed teams.
- Experience supporting case-management, workflow-based, or enterprise applications.
- Experience coordinating UAT, demos, releases, and production validation.
