About the Role
Luxliv is a Dubai-based property maintenance and interior renovation business. We are looking for an Interior Designer who will also play an active role in client and project coordination.
This is not purely a design position. The role combines interior design work with customer communication, understanding client requirements, quotation and site coordination, customer follow-up, and supporting projects from enquiry through execution. The position is remote and will work closely with our Dubai-based team.
Key Responsibilities
Interior Design
- Prepare 2D layouts and drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D concepts, models and renders for interior projects.
- Prepare space planning and furniture/layout proposals.
- Assist with material, finish and colour selections.
- Prepare client presentations and design boards.
- Produce drawings and design information suitable for site execution.
- Revise designs based on client feedback and site requirements.
Client and Project coordination
- Communicate with customers through WhatsApp, telephone, and other channels.
- Understand and document customer requirements.
- Coordinate site visits with the Dubai technical team.
- Follow up internally for estimates and quotations.
- Coordinate quotations and proposals with customers.
- Follow up with customers after quotations are submitted.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries and project status.
- Assist in coordinating projects from initial enquiry through execution.
- Maintain professional and timely communication with customers throughout the process.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone with:
- Formal education/training in Interior Design.
- Approximately 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
- A portfolio demonstrating actual interior design work.
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Ability to create 3D models and professional renders.
- Understanding of space planning, furniture layouts, materials and finishes.
- Ability to prepare drawings that can be used for site execution.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Confidence communicating directly with customers.
- Good organisation and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Experience with software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Lumion, V-Ray, Enscape, AutoCAD 3D or similar will be useful.
Role Details
- Full-time remote position based in India.
- Work will primarily follow UAE/Dubai business hours.
- Regular coordination with our Dubai team will be required.
