Company Description: Ananya Child Development & Early Intervention Clinic (Ananya Learning Centre and Therapy Services) supports children with diverse educational and developmental needs, including LD, ADHD, APD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. The clinic focuses on early identification and intervention to help infants, toddlers, and children achieve measurable developmental outcomes and lead fuller, more independent lives. Ananya works closely with parents through support, training, and regular workshops, reflecting its values of knowledge sharing, integrity, and collaboration. A multidisciplinary team of full-time therapists and visiting specialist consultants offers therapies such as psychology, speech, occupational, sensory integration, movement, behaviour, music, art, nutrition, and counselling. The team engages with global experts and conducts frequent workshops for parents and education professionals to stay current with evolving practices.
Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Psychologist role based in Hyderabad. The Psychologist will conduct psychological assessments and developmental evaluations for children with a range of needs, including developmental delays, learning difficulties, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and related conditions. Daily responsibilities include designing and implementing individualised intervention plans, providing counselling and behavioural support to children, and working closely with families to build understanding and consistency across home and clinic settings. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and consultants, documenting progress, and contributing to case discussions and treatment planning. The Psychologist will also participate in parent training sessions, workshops, and continuous learning initiatives to ensure evidence-based and child-centred care.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Psychology with specialised knowledge in child or developmental psychology.
- Understanding of Medicine and developmental disorders to collaborate effectively with medical and therapeutic professionals.
- Demonstrated skills in Counselling, including parent guidance and family support in a pediatric context.
- Expertise in Mental Health, particularly in working with children with neurodevelopmental and behavioural conditions.
- Proficiency in Psychological Assessment, including standardised tools and observational methods tailored to children.
- Relevant postgraduate degree in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, or Child/Developmental), with appropriate licensing or registration as required.
- Experience working in pediatric, developmental, or special needs settings, ideally within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills, ability to build rapport with children and families, and a collaborative approach with colleagues.
