Role Description The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing residential interior design projects from initiation to completion in a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. Daily tasks include coordinating project schedules, managing resources, tracking deliverables, and ensuring milestones are met according to design and quality standards. The role involves working closely with designers, vendors, contractors, and clients to align expectations, manage timelines, and resolve issues promptly. The Project Manager will handle procurement follow-ups, oversee site inspections, and manage logistics to ensure materials and services arrive on time and in the correct sequence. This position also requires maintaining clear documentation, preparing status reports, and supporting continuous improvement of project processes within the studio.
Qualifications
- Project coordination and delivery skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to oversee end-to-end interior design projects.
- Expeditor and Expediting skills to manage procurement follow-ups, vendor communication, and timely delivery of materials and services.
- Inspection experience to conduct site checks, monitor workmanship, and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Logistics Management skills to plan, track, and optimize the movement and storage of materials, and to coordinate with suppliers and contractors.
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, construction management, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and engage with clients professionally.
- Experience in residential interior projects in an on-site setting, preferably within Bengaluru or similar urban environments.
