About The Role
Indraprastha Law College, Greater Noida, is seeking an accomplished academic leader to serve as Principal. The role calls for a scholar-administrator who can provide strong academic direction, uphold institutional standards, and foster an environment where students excel both academically and personally.
Eligibility Criteria
- Ph.D. in Law (mandatory)
- Minimum 15 years of teaching experience in Law, or an equivalent senior academic/administrative role in a recognized law college or university (mandatory)
- Strong record of publications, academic contributions, or professional engagement in the field of law will be an advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic and administrative leadership to the college, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning
- Oversee curriculum delivery, faculty performance, and compliance with regulatory bodies (BCI, UGC, affiliating university, etc.)
- Lead and mentor the faculty team, fostering a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement
- Manage institutional resources, budgets, and infrastructure effectively
- Encourage and support extra-curricular activities, moot courts, debates, seminars, and student clubs to promote holistic student development
- Build strong liaisons with the university, Bar Council of India, judiciary, and legal fraternity
- Ensure student welfare, discipline, and a conducive learning environment

- Proven administrative and management capabilities suited to leading an academic institution
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Vision and commitment to student-centric development, including academics and extra-curricular growth
- Ability to handle regulatory, statutory, and institutional compliance matters
