Role Description The Pathologist will work full time on-site at Neelam Hospital, located in Pansemal. Responsibilities include examining tissue, blood, and other body fluids, performing and interpreting histopathological, cytological, and hematological tests, and providing accurate diagnostic reports to support clinical decision-making. The role involves overseeing laboratory processes, ensuring quality control and adherence to safety and accreditation standards, and collaborating closely with clinicians across multiple specialties. The Pathologist will participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, contribute to protocol development, and support continuous improvement in diagnostic services and patient care.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, with the ability to interpret a wide range of diagnostic tests.
- Proficiency in Histology and Laboratory Skills, including specimen handling, processing, and quality assurance.
- Relevant medical degree (e.g., MD/DNB in Pathology or equivalent) with valid registration as per local regulatory requirements.
- Experience in a multispeciality hospital or diagnostic laboratory setting preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary clinical teams and communicate findings clearly and timely.
