Role Description The Radiologist at Ovum Hospitals will provide diagnostic imaging services to support clinical decision-making for women and child health, including maternity, gynecology, fertility, and pediatric care. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing and interpreting imaging studies such as X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, MRI, and mammography as appropriate, and preparing clear, timely reports for referring clinicians. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, participating in case discussions, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols, radiation standards, and hospital policies. The radiologist will also guide imaging technicians, support quality assurance initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement of imaging services. This is a full-time, on-site role located at Ovum Hospitals in Bengaluru East.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong foundational knowledge and training in Medicine and Radiology.
- Candidates should possess skills in Medical Imaging, including the use of diagnostic modalities relevant to women and child healthcare.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Mammography and breast imaging for screening and diagnostic purposes.
- Candidates should possess familiarity or experience in Nuclear Medicine where applicable to patient care.
- Postgraduate degree in Radiology (MD/DNB or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical license/registration with appropriate regulatory bodies in India.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate findings clearly and accurately.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, clinical safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.
- Prior experience in a women and child specialty hospital or similar setting is an advantage.
