Role Description The Consultant Doctor role at Minus Clinic Official is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Consultant Doctor will conduct detailed consultations, assess client medical histories, and recommend appropriate slimming and body-contouring treatments aligned with clinic protocols. Daily responsibilities include performing or supervising invasive, non-invasive, and minimally invasive procedures, monitoring treatment progress, and ensuring client safety and comfort. The role also involves explaining treatment plans and outcomes in clear, empathetic language, documenting clinical information accurately, and collaborating with nutrition, therapy, and support staff to deliver integrated care. The Consultant Doctor will stay updated on evidence-based weight management and aesthetic treatment practices and contribute to continuous improvement of clinical standards.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution; postgraduate qualification in dermatology, cosmetology, aesthetic medicine, or related field is preferred.
- Valid medical license/registration to practice, with good standing and compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- Experience in aesthetic medicine, slimming treatments, body contouring, or related clinical specialties, including non-invasive and minimally invasive procedures.
- Strong clinical assessment skills, including history taking, risk evaluation, treatment planning, and post-treatment follow-up.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex medical information clearly and compassionately to a diverse client base.
- Commitment to ethical practice, client confidentiality, and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to a supportive, client-focused clinic environment.
- Basic proficiency with electronic medical records and clinic management systems; openness to learning new technologies and tools.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends or extended hours based on clinic operations.
- Prior experience in a slimming clinic or aesthetic center in Chennai or similar urban setting is an advantage.
