The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Partner – Financial Due Diligence (FDD) to lead and grow our Corporate Finance Advisory Services (CFAS) practice. This is a strategic leadership role for an entrepreneurial professional with deep transaction advisory experience and a proven ability to build client relationships, originate business, and lead high-performing teams.
The role offers the opportunity to work on marquee domestic and cross-border transactions while shaping the future growth of DHC's Financial Due Diligence practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Buy-side and Sell-side Financial Due Diligence engagements across M&A transactions.
- Analyse financial statements, Quality of Earnings (QoE), EBITDA, Working Capital, Net Debt, Cash Flows, and key financial metrics to identify value drivers and transaction risks.
- Deliver commercially relevant insights and recommendations to promoters, investors, lenders, and senior management, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide integrated transaction solutions.
- Build trusted client relationships, understand transaction objectives, and deliver high-quality advisory solutions throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Drive business development by originating new opportunities, leading client pitches, proposals, commercial negotiations, and expanding relationships with Private Equity Funds, AIFs, Venture Capital Funds, Family Offices, Investment Banks, Corporates, Financial Institutions, and Law Firms.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities across DHC's service lines and represent the firm at industry forums, conferences, and networking events.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, overseeing project planning, resource allocation, quality reviews, performance management, and capability building.
- Manage multiple engagements while ensuring timely delivery, technical excellence, client satisfaction, and achievement of revenue and profitability objectives.
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
- Chartered Accountant (CA); CFA or other relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
- 20+ years of post-qualification experience in Financial Due Diligence, Transaction Advisory, Corporate Finance, or Investment Banking.
- Strong experience leading Buy-side and Sell-side Financial Due Diligence engagements across domestic and cross-border transactions.
- Demonstrated success in business development, client relationship management, and practice growth.
- Experience working with Private Equity Funds, AIFs, Venture Capital Funds, Strategic Investors, Family Offices, and Corporates.
- Proven leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, commercial, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
