Role Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and student-focused Overseas Education Counselors to join our Kochi and Calicut branches. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will guide students through the complete overseas education process—from career counseling and university selection to admissions and visa guidance.
The ideal candidate will:
- Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions to help students identify suitable courses, universities, and study destinations.
- Guide students through admission requirements, documentation, application procedures, entrance tests, and important timelines.
- Conduct seminars, education fairs, and information sessions to promote international education opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-ups using CRM or student management systems.
- Coordinate with universities, partner institutions, and internal teams to ensure a smooth application process.
- Stay updated with international education trends, university requirements, and immigration policies.
- Deliver a professional, student-centric counseling experience while achieving enrollment targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Prior experience in overseas education counseling, student advising, admissions, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international education systems and admission processes for major study destinations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong educational consulting and student counseling abilities.
- Career counseling skills to help students choose the right academic and professional pathways.
- Highly organized with excellent time-management and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT, PTE, or other standardized tests is an added advantage.
- Multilingual communication skills (English, Malayalam, and other regional languages) are preferred.
