Role Description The Operations Manager (Commercial Interior) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. This role oversees the end-to-end operational lifecycle of commercial interior projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with design teams, vendors, and execution partners; managing project schedules and resources; and monitoring on-site progress and compliance with safety and quality guidelines. The Operations Manager tracks project costs, optimizes procurement, and ensures clear communication and documentation across stakeholders. This role also focuses on improving workflows, implementing standardized processes, and using data and technology tools to drive operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong project and operations management skills, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and on-site coordination.
- Experience in commercial interiors or fit-out projects, with knowledge of construction processes, materials, and vendor management.
- Ability to manage budgets, track costs, and support cost optimization and transparency across multiple projects.
- Proficiency with digital tools for project tracking, documentation, and reporting; comfort working with tech-enabled platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills to collaborate with clients, designers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on meeting timelines, mitigating risks, and maintaining quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, business, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience leading teams in fast-paced environments and familiarity with standardized workflows and process improvement methodologies.
