The HR Manager / Office Manager (Workplace Experience) is a hands-on role that combines HR partnership with workplace and office management. The position is responsible for supporting the complete employee lifecycle, providing guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and processes, ensuring compliance with local labour regulations, and fostering a positive employee experience. In addition, the role oversees day-to-day office operations, including facilities, vendor management, workplace administration, health and safety compliance, and employee engagement initiatives, ensuring a professional, efficient, and collaborative work environment.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related queries and support
• Manage onboarding, probation tracking, role changes, and offboarding processes
• Provide guidance on HR policies, local labour practices, and employee procedures in India
• Support managers with performance discussions, employee relations matters, and corrective actions as required
• Maintain employee records and ensure documentation is accurate and audit-ready
• Support employee engagement activities, feedback cycles, and culture initiatives • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable local regulations
• Partner with global HR teams to align on processes and maintain consistency
• Office Management
• Oversee daily office operations to ensure a smooth and professional work environment
• Manage vendors, facilities, and office supplies, with a focus on efficiency and cost control
• Ensure the workplace meets health, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Support planning and execution of in-office events and employee engagement activities
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for office-related needs
• Act as the on-site point of contact for employees, vendors, and visitors
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
• Experience in HR generalist or HR partner roles, with exposure to office or workplace management
• Good understanding of labour laws and HR practices in India
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with managers and employees at all levels
• Clear communicator with good judgment and a practical approach to problem solving
• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable in execution
• Experience with HR systems, Workday experience is an advantage
