Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Vadodara. The Occupational Therapist will assess children and adults with developmental, sensory, behavioral, and functional challenges, and design individualized intervention plans. Daily responsibilities include delivering hands-on therapy sessions, implementing sensory integration and rehabilitation programs, monitoring progress, and updating treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. The role also involves educating families and caregivers, documenting clinical findings, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to case discussions and program development. The therapist will help foster an inclusive, supportive environment that promotes independence, participation in daily activities, and overall quality of life.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, treatment planning, and evidence-based intervention.
- Candidates should possess relevant knowledge in Medicine and Rehabilitation to support comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for collaborating with families, caregivers, and professionals.
- Candidates should possess competencies in Pediatrics to work effectively with children and adolescents with diverse needs.
- Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and appropriate professional registration or licensure.
- Experience working in pediatric, developmental, or rehabilitation settings is highly beneficial.
- Strong documentation, time management, and case coordination skills, with the ability to work respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and participation in supervision, trainings, and team meetings.
