Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pediatric Occupational Therapist role based in Bengaluru North. The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will assess children’s developmental, sensory, and functional needs, and design individualized therapy plans to support their daily living, social, and academic skills. Responsibilities include delivering one-on-one and small-group therapy sessions, implementing sensory integration techniques, and collaborating with educators and families to ensure consistent support across home and school settings. The role also involves documenting progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed, and participating in multidisciplinary meetings to promote holistic development. The therapist will contribute to creating a supportive, child-centered environment that encourages independence, confidence, and creativity.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy, with experience applying therapeutic techniques in clinical or educational settings.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Pediatrics and Early Intervention to address developmental needs in early childhood.
- Candidates should possess skills in Sensory Integration to support children with sensory processing challenges.
- Candidates should possess experience Working With Children, including the ability to build rapport and manage diverse behavioral and developmental profiles.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution; licensure or registration as required by local regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly with families and caregivers.
- Strong observation, assessment, and documentation skills, with attention to ethical and inclusive practice.
- Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly beneficial; familiarity with individualized education or therapy plans is an advantage.
