Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Occupational Therapist will assess clients’ functional abilities, sensory processing, motor skills, and daily living skills, and develop individualized treatment plans to support functional independence. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting evaluations, delivering evidence-based therapy sessions, documenting progress, and collaborating with audiology, speech therapy, and other team members to ensure coordinated care. The role involves educating clients and families on therapy goals, home programs, and strategies for success in daily routines. The Occupational Therapist will also participate in case discussions, contribute to service improvement initiatives, and maintain high standards of ethical and professional practice.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy, with demonstrated skills in assessment, intervention planning, and functional rehabilitation.
- Knowledge of Medicine and Rehabilitation principles relevant to sensory integration, motor development, and daily living skills.
- Effective Communication skills to work collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Experience or interest in Pediatrics, including working with children with developmental, sensory, or behavioral needs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution; valid professional registration/licensure as required.
- Ability to deliver client-centered care, manage a caseload, and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Comfort working in an on-site clinical setting, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in rehab, pediatric therapy, or multidisciplinary clinical environments is an advantage.
