Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant located in Sahawar. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to understand operational processes in manufacturing, inventory, sales, procurement, finance, and supply chain, and translate them into functional requirements within Dynamics NAV / Business Central. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and optimizing modules, managing implementations and upgrades, preparing functional documentation, and supporting data migration and integration with other systems. The role involves conducting user training, resolving functional issues, coordinating with technical teams for customizations, and ensuring that system workflows align with business goals and compliance requirements. The consultant will continuously review processes, suggest improvements, and help drive adoption of best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central, including configuration, module setup, and process mapping.
- Background in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial operations, with understanding of inventory, production, procurement, and sales workflows.
- Ability to gather business requirements, document functional specifications, and design solutions that improve efficiency and data accuracy.
- Experience in end-to-end ERP implementation activities such as testing, data migration, user training, and post-go-live support.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and comfort working with complex data and processes.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and end users.
- Proficiency in basic reporting and use of tools related to Dynamics NAV / Business Central; familiarity with integrations and extensions is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; professional certifications in Microsoft Dynamics are preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Sahawar and engage with shop-floor, operations, and management teams regularly.
