Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for a Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant. The consultant will work with clients to gather and analyze business requirements, map processes, and design functional solutions within Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. Responsibilities include configuring and customizing supply chain modules, supporting end-to-end implementations, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure solutions align with client objectives. The role involves preparing functional documentation, test cases, and user guides, as well as conducting workshops, user training, and supporting UAT and post-go-live activities. The consultant will also help optimize system usage, troubleshoot functional issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of supply chain processes.
Qualifications
- Strong functional expertise in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management and related Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules (e.g., Finance, Inventory, Procurement, Warehouse, Production).
- Proficiency in business process analysis and design, including requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and solution documentation.
- Experience with end-to-end ERP implementation activities such as configuration, testing, data migration support, and user training.
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams to define functional specifications, integrations, and customizations.
- Solid understanding of supply chain concepts, including demand planning, inventory control, procurement, logistics, and order fulfillment.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments, with a focus on delivery quality and meeting timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field; relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications are an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, distribution, or retail domains is beneficial.
