About the Role
The Merchandising Executive will support merchandising activities throughout the order lifecycle, from sample development to order execution and customer coordination. The role focuses on ensuring timely order processing, effective cross-functional coordination, quality compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Support merchandising activities from sample development to order execution
- Coordinate with Sampling, Production, Planning, and Quality teams for timely order processing
- Follow up on sample development, approvals, fabrics, trims, and production schedules
- Maintain merchandising records and update order status in the ERP system
- Coordinate with buyers and internal teams to ensure effective communication and issue resolution
- Prepare merchandising documents, reports, and order-related data
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and company procedures
- Monitor order progress and escalate delays or issues to the reporting manager
- Support timely order execution while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- B.Tech or Equivalent
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in Merchandising or Garment Manufacturing
Required Skills
- Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes
- Experience in sample development and merchandising activities
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Basic understanding of fabrics, trims, and production processes
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Customer-focused approach with strong follow-up and execution skills
