Role Description The Merchandiser role at Paras Dyeing and Printing Mills is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Merchandiser will coordinate between buyers and internal production teams, manage order follow-ups, and ensure product specifications, timelines, and quality standards are met. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing samples, tracking production status, maintaining documentation, and communicating updates to stakeholders. The role also involves analyzing customer preferences, supporting pricing and negotiation activities, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to align product offerings with market demand.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with buyers, internal teams, and suppliers.
- Candidates should possess Sales and Retail skills to understand market trends, buyer requirements, and merchandising strategies in textile or apparel.
- Candidates should possess Marketing skills to support product positioning, promotion plans, and coordination with marketing initiatives.
- Candidates should have proficiency in basic data analysis and MS Office tools for tracking orders, preparing reports, and managing documentation.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to handle multiple orders and deadlines.
- A diploma or degree in Textile Design, Fashion, Merchandising, Business, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in textile or garment merchandising is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Mumbai and adapt to a fast-paced production environment is essential.
