Job Description for the post of Merchandiser
Experience: 1 to 2 Years from Diamond jewelry manufacturing industry
Markets Covered: Domestic
Location: Kandivali, Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
Merchandiser
· Coordinate with design team to develop designs based on the concept generated via research.
· Engaging with the PD team to restructure the sample line
· Planning the social media calendar and building the content strategies for start-up brands
· Optimizing the workflow to deliver designs with high selection on time
· To deliver new concepts & collection to the clients as per new trends.
· Study the order pattern & plan the calendar of collection proposal for the clients
· Manage designed catalogues flyers websites newsletters for clients.
· Visual merchandising for in-house collections.
· Conduct Market Research quarterly, Gap Analysis, Trend Forecasting, and Competitor Analysis in terms of quality, innovation, price points, techniques & aesthetics.
· Basic Technical knowledge in jewellery designing
· Handling the domestic & International Market
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of diamond jewellery manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of diamond grading, gold purity, and jewellery finishing.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and basic ERP systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate/Diploma in Jewellery Design, Merchandising, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in jewellery merchandising, preferably in diamond jewellery manufacturing.
