Our flagship product portfolio is built around the levulinate platform, a versatile family of bio-based chemicals derived from renewable biomass. Key products include Levulinic Acid, Calcium Levulinate, Sodium Levulinate, Ethyl Levulinate, Methyl Levulinate, 5-Hydroxymethylfurfural (5-HMF), 5-Aminolevulinic Acid Hydrochloride, and Disodium Succinate Hexahydrate. These high-purity specialty chemicals are used as pharmaceutical ingredients, cosmetic and food preservatives, green solvents, fragrance ingredients, agricultural inputs, and chemical intermediates, offering sustainable alternatives to petroleum-derived products.
ChemSus is actively advancing a biomass-to-chemicals platform, with a focus on converting abundant lignocellulosic resources, including bamboo and agricultural residues, into value-added chemicals through environmentally responsible processes. Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Marketing Executive/Senior Marketing Executive with proven experience in B2B marketing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and specialty chemicals. The selected candidate will be responsible for business development, customer acquisition, and market expansion across pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetic, and allied industries.
Educational Qualification
- BBA (Marketing) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
Experience
- 3–4 years of proven experience in B2B marketing and business development of APIs or specialty chemicals.
- Experience in domestic and/or international pharmaceutical ingredient markets is preferred.
- Hands-on marketing experience with Calcium Levulinate and Sodium Levulinate products will be considered a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for ChemSus' specialty chemical and API portfolio.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in India and international markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical, cosmetic, nutraceutical, and industrial customers.
- Manage customer inquiries, quotations, negotiations, and follow-up activities.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and demand forecasting.
- Coordinate with technical and production teams to support customer requirements.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade fairs, and customer meetings.
- Prepare regular sales and marketing reports and achieve assigned business targets.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of B2B sales and marketing processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to travel for customer meetings and business development activities.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
