About Trend Money

About the Role
This is the highest-leverage seat in a young firm. You'll sit next to the founder and work on whatever matters most that month — a product launch, a partner channel, a research framework, a hiring plan. The brief changes; the standard doesn't.
You will not own one function. You'll own outcomes across several, and you'll be expected to figure out the middle yourself. If you need a defined scope to do good work, this isn't the role. If you've ever been the person who quietly ran the thing that nobody else wanted to own, it probably is.
Strong performers here don't stay trainees. They end up running a function.
What You'll Do
- Run special projects end to end — from a one-line brief to a shipped outcome, across product, growth, research, and operations
- Build the firm's internal machinery: dashboards, trackers, SOPs, and the reporting the founder actually looks at every week
- Turn raw market and portfolio data into decision-ready analysis — the memo that gets read before the meeting, not after
- Sit in on client, partner, and vendor conversations; own the follow-through afterwards
- Support compliance and regulatory workflows in a SEBI-registered environment where the paperwork is not optional
- Pick up whatever is broken, unowned, or newly urgent — this is most of the job, and the best part of it
Must Have
- Pursuing or completed a degree in finance, commerce, economics, engineering, or business
- Structured thinking — you can break an ambiguous problem into steps and defend the steps
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint; comfort with numbers as an argument, not decoration
- Clear, compressed written communication; you can write a page that a busy person will read
- High ownership and follow-through. Things you touch get closed
- Genuine interest in markets, wealth management, and how a financial business actually works
Nice to Have
- CFA L3 / NISM certifications (or working toward NISM-XA/XB)
- Prior startup, consulting, or founder's-office exposure
- Comfort with data and AI tools — SQL, Python, or building workflows that remove manual work
- Understanding of the SEBI RIA framework
