About the Role
Spocket is looking for a Lead Full Stack Engineer with at least 8+ years (non-negotiable) of hands-on experience in Python and React to help drive our growing platform forward.
This is a hybrid role: you'll stay deep in the code while also owning technical planning, mentoring engineers, and acting as the key link between our CEO/Founder, Product Design, and the Engineering team.

What You'll Do
- Turn business requirements into clear, actionable technical specs alongside a highly skilled engineering team
- Own and drive the product and engineering roadmap from planning through execution
- Lead, mentor, and support the engineering team, raising the bar on accountability and performance
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between the CEO/Founder, Product Design, and Engineering
- Translate business goals into concrete product and engineering priorities
- Manage project timelines, sprint planning, resourcing, and delivery milestones
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, Design, and Growth to build innovative, scalable solutions
- Build and maintain key features across our existing platform
- Identify new ways to improve customer experience and platform usability
- Maintain and scale our current stack on an ongoing basis
- Take full ownership of the code and the product you ship
What You Bring
- At least 8+ years of full-stack development experience
- 6-8+ years working with React, Ruby or Python, TypeScript (a plus), and AWS (a plus)
- A track record of shipping code quickly and iterating often
- A customer-first mindset — you care about the experience you're building, not just the code behind it
- High standards and low tolerance for the status quo
- Self-motivation and genuine excitement about building both product and business
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities
